The size of Pharmaceutical industry in India and the world is enormous. Today the industry in India is worth 30000 crores , which is projected to grow to 120000 crores in the next five years.
We , at Chandan are striving for the number one spot .     
THE JOURNEY
Any big success starts with a small step.
In April 2006, a strong well trained marketing team was appointed to start operations in Uttar Pradesh and Uttra Khand .
The favorable response from the doctors and the trade , we expanded operations in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Himanchal Pradesh and Rajasthan in October 2006 .
Now , in January  2008 , we have started the markets of West Bengal .
The financial year 2008 -09 , will be the year of consolidation .
POLICY
We at Chandan believe in growth – both for the Company and the people . With this in mind we have elevated the Executives who have excelled to more responsible positions . 
As in this industry , people are the main resource , we take special care to develop our sales team by organizing extensive training programs .
The training is both to sharpen the selling skills and also develop the aspiring candidates into future leaders. THE FUTURE
A decision has already been taken by the Management, that in the next couple of years, we will have a National presence . Thereafter, we shall move on to the INTERNATIONAL markets. The Company will be setting up it’s own state of the art manufacturing unit alongwith special emphasis on Research & Development .
THE PRODUCTS
Selection of products , at the onset , was a debatable issue . Since the market is open to a large variety of products .

We decided to enter not with general products , but by picking up a specific specialty .
We chose Ophthalmology as our specialty  .
We launched our Company with products that are used by common patients ie anti biotics , anti-inflammtory and a lubricant .

Now , with a few products getting established , we will be introducing the anti – glaucoma range from financial year  2008 -09 .
